Donia is the Kauai Open Studio Tours (and Preview Exhibit) event coordinator/planner as well as a Studio Tour participant for the Oct 19 & 20 weekend event.
The 2nd Annual Open Studio Tours will be held two weekends this year: October 12 & 13 for the South/West side of Kauai (Lihue to Waimea) and October 19 & 20 for the North/East side of the island (Wailua to Wainiha). The Studios will be open from 11am – 5pm each day. Maps will be available in the Midweek Kauai both weeks prior to the events and also printable online at WomenArtistsofKauai.org
A portion of the sales from this event will go to the Zonta Club of Hanalei’s Scholarship Fund!
You can also meet the participating artists of the 2nd Annual Open Studio Tours for their “Preview Exhibit” to be held at the Kauai Museum for the month of October. Each artist on the Open Studio Tour will have one piece of their work at the Kauai Museum from October 1 – October 31. This will help visitors wishing to see an example of the artwork to be experienced on the Studio Tours in mid-October choose which Studios to visit (or, perhaps inspire you to visit *all* of the Studios)!

The Women Artists of Kauai will be having their 2014 3rd Annual Open Studio Tour on the weekend of November 8 and 9, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a free, self driving tour. Visit each artist’s studio at your own pace and talk story with them and/or their guest artist about their artistic process. Many of the artists will also be demonstrating in their studio. This event is a fundraiser for the Zonta Club of Hanalei, and we will be donating 20% of our sales to their scholarship fund.
